Our Mission Statement

Daughters of Destiny Mentoring Ministry will enhance and influence the lives of the next generation of young ladies, who will someday assume positions of leadership in their churches, homes, and communities. Through this program, young ladies between the ages of 10 and 16, will see and model Godly love and character. They will develop a knowing of who they are in Christ.
Our Story

At 13 years of age Eleana Stewart joined the youth group at the International Church of Christ. This is where she met and developed a lifelong bond with youth leaders Curtis and Chante Head. Youth group and church became a place of comfort and support for Eleana; and the Head's house soon became a home away from home. Eleana grew mentally, emotionally and spiritually as she journeyed through adolescence and developed into a mighty woman of God. After 12 years of mentorship Eleana felt an urging from God to become a mentor and give back all that had been given to her. Through much prayer Chante and Eleana birthed Daughters of Destiny Mentoring Ministry and held their very first session on January 22, 2011, with seven beautiful young ladies. Chante and Eleana's passion, love and commitment to molding the lives of young ladies, drives them to pour everything they have into the ministry. By the grace of God, Daughters of Destiny continues to provide guidance, inspiration, life skills training, and a home away from home to young ladies throughout the Metropolitan area.
